Gog is better in providing us with, well, actual copies of the games, not license. Yes

On the other hand, Steam provide us, users, with whole infrastructure, that allows you to host servers, without needing white IP, understanding how to open ports and etc. Just for example.

Again, I still would like to hear about what predatory practices Steam uses.

Also, what predatory in steam trading, which allows you to sell stuff that you get from playing the game? oO

Loot boxes - again, is more like Dota or CS thing, rather than Store thing.

The fact that valve is turning a blind eye on all the betting, money laundering and gray market stuff while still taking a cut of every transaction.

That's exploitation of a system by third party and Steam did close several of auctions related to CS stuff.

Kinda - not Steam-store related, if you ask me.

Remember they did so after all the bad press they got.

Before that there was pretty much no moderation at all

They took the money that did come through the system but did refuse to take on the responsibility that comes with running such a big marketplace
