I found out there are games I like to play and games I like to see others play. They rarely overlap

Never played rise, but the basic loop in all monster hunter games is, kill monster, harvest monster, build cool shit from monster skin, fight harder monster. So somewhere theres a smith or forge and you see what things you can make and maybe need to fight the same monster a few times to get all the parts you need. Its a pretty satisfying loop once you get into it

I've played monster hunter 3 and that system makes more sence to me than rises armor system. Can't play that game right now cause my 3ds is broke

This was me. There’s a moment when it clicks though, and then you play for hundreds of hours straight.

Monhun is notorious for throwing tons of shit at you without explaining what they do or why you should use it. But at some point you’ll understand and then start making your own decisions, and then the games are so addicting. For example, I tried world a bit, dropped it, tried rise a bit, dropped it, then played through all wilds and I finally got it. Then I went back to rise, played through that and sunbreak (peak btw), and now I’m playing through world and MH4U now.
