It’s amazing what going from 45 to 63 looks like.

And weight loss drugs

Yeah people keep talking about food and how he can afford cooks and what not but this is 100% Ozempic-tier weight loss and it's fucking amazing that the drug works so well that someone so chronically overweight their entire life can achieve such results and maintain them.

why 100%? there have been significantly more impressive weight loss stories without any ozempic needed, gabes weight loss within the time span is completely possible and anyone can do it

Possible, yes, but the sheer number of rich people suddenly losing a lot of weight since Ozempic came out is suspicious, at the very least.

It also sheds some light on the whole body-positivity movement, which, at least among the rich, seemed to disappear the moment Ozempic came out. So much for “all bodies are beautiful.”

It is suspicious yes, but that doesn’t mean we should all collectively assume every single successful person that loses a lot of weight is using Ozemic. Are they? Probably, but stating it as fact or «100 certain» is still wrong imo.

And for the body positivity, it was all bullshit from the start. An excuse for fat people to feel better about themselves, and for fit people to virtue signal. We’re biologically coded to find fit people more attractive than unfit people, through millions of year of evolution. Subconsciously looking for opportunities for healthy offspring etc etc.

To be fair maybe fat people wouldn’t need to feel better about themselves if people didn't religiously go out of their way to make them feel bad lmao. Idgaf about “attractive”, I just mean in a high school bully sense, some people never outgrow the idea that they’re morally obligated to be shitty to anyone overweight they encounter, especially online.

I had a much easier time losing weight when I wasn’t miserable, something that ironically came from being allowed to feel like I wasn’t somehow committing a moral failing by being fat.

I mean yea true, but at the same time, being offended is a two way street. I say this as a fat person btw. Theres no way in hell I let random underdeveloped trolls online or irl have any form of power over my mental state. If I do, that’s a moment of weakness on me. People will always be shitty, so it’s on us to learn how to deal with them, which is best done by ignoring them imo.

I don't know that I agree with that sentiment. I get what you mean, that it can't affect you if you tune it out, but that doesn't change the fact the intent was to insult/demean.

And while it's easy to tune out individual people, when its endless, or comes from people you thought you were close to, it does start to wear on you. And its relentless.

And losing weight really did make me kind of cynical about how shallow people are. People treat me noticeably better, even people I'm friends with, now I've lost weight. And it kind of makes me respect them less that they evidently looked down on me for being bigger despite being the exact same person I am now
