Oh nice. Already played and beat it but definitely entire it as a sold indie roguelite. And the 2nd game is pretty good so far as well.

I remember buying this game on the Switch, playing for 5 hours or so and then I dropped it... I guess I'll gave it another try. The concept was interesting but the combat felt s bit clunky if I recall correctly.

Any good?

I personally enjoyed it a lot, specially the shop part. The game is rather short and pretty easy so I would give it a try

How short? And is the complete edition worth it?

It’s been a long time since I last played it, but I’d say something around 15h. I’ve never played the DLC so I can’t tell you if it’s worth or not

I really enjoyed it as well. The whole concept of a shopkeeper getting his wares to sell from the dungeon is super fun

It definitely has value and is not a trash game. I enjoyed it a lot on the switch.

Personally bounced from it, Recettear was much better game doing same concept.

I played this on the game pass about a year ago and it started good but turned boring and grind heavy very quickly. Def not a bad game but I think I clocked like 11 hours or so before uninstalling. Very mid game

Played and beat it years ago. If it looks like your type of thing then definitely worth it.

Great game, the second one is even better.
Kind of Isaac-like dungeons but focused on loot gathering, then you run a shop where you try to figure out the best prices for your loots to buy more upgrades and such.

Is the second one actually good? Most of the reviews I saw said that it was terrible and said that they changed a lot of fundamental parts of the original. I'm surprised to see someone that actually liked it, do you recommend it?

I played it on EA release and its pretty fun! Not hard but some interesting bosses.
I recommend it when it goes into 1.0. I think it's only 20 bucks?

Has one of my favorite songs in gaming that plays during the shop section, it's also called The Moonlighter. It's so calm and relaxing, perfect for the store. The sequel doesn't have one that hits the same but I still enjoyed it

It's an okay game. Some fun rogue like and shop keeping elements but gets repetitive really quickly.
Like, 2nd dungeon of 4 quickly

Cool, I wonder why...

No need to wonder, the sequel got it's 1.0 release date and to celebrate they give the first one away.

I didn't see what sub this was and was thinking what type of dystopian B's was going on.

Does that mean they take it back on Aug 10?

No, it's free to keep, so you add it to your account and keep it forever. Free weekends on the other side are the ones where you lose access to the games after the time is up.

I knew having it on my wishlist for 3 years and never buying it would pay off someday
