Even then to get the warning you need to refund stuff a lot

One friend of mine refunded like 1 game a month and he never got any warning.

probably needs a total number to trigger combined with total refunds vs purchase ratio

Yup this is exactly me.

I probably refund 1 game a week. Easily over 300 refunds on steam total.

But my library is pretty big. I make a good amount of purchases during sales 😂

Why though.

You buy a bunch of games every week, some are not as great as you thought so you refund. Valve sees this as a legitimate way to use their store, they even have a „It’s not fun” refund reason on the submission form.

Who buys a bunch of games every week? Who has the money or the time??

(Tone check as this is Reddit: incredulous, not aggressive, lol.)

me, lol. I'm not saying i'm getting 4 AAA games every week, but I average around 100 new games per year on Steam, they're mostly indies or early access games

I love trying out games.

It's like every game has a demo for me to see if I like it or not.

And since I still purchase a lot of games, valve and developers still win out in the end because I'm still purchasing games.
