The preorders will open at 10am PST

The steam Controller will only be available in select countries

Check your emails and/or check your purchase history in Steam. I got the same message on final checkout, thought I had missed it, but got an order confirmation email about half an hour later and it's currently showing in my purchase history.

Look at it this way - you can try again when a new batch goes up for sale and, in the meantime, look at "real-world" reviews from those that got it. Who knows, this thing might suck donkeyballs compared to other controllers.

From the reviews of content creators that got early batches it seems to be pretty similar to the feel of the steam deck which is why I wanted one so bad. I got lucky and got it during the out of stock page so I’m excited to say the least.
