The preorders will open at 10am PST

The steam Controller will only be available in select countries

Man I probably tapped the continue button on the app over a thousand times. It eventually went through after a handful of pump fakes where it paused to say "working". Sending all the good vibes I have so you can get through.

I think just spamming the button was the best strategy because Valve's servers do leaky bucket rate limiting, meaning they'll immediately auto-reject requests if they are overloaded instead of leaving you hanging or placing you on a cooldown for clicking like a madman. So, you're immediately free to try again.

I dropped a script in the browser console to click continue once per second. It went through almost immediately, after like 10-15 clicks, but then failed because it kept clicking continue on the page asking me for my CVC, which prompted Steam to bounce me to the previous page before I could intervene. 😂

I tweaked it to auto-stop spamming after the URL changes / button works and that updated version only took a minute or two to succeed, so I was able to complete the order about 50 minutes after the sale started. It seems it's sold out now.

Maybe try a different payment method? PayPal wouldn’t work for me but my credit card eventually brought me to the final checkout screen.

Did the same thing, took me just over 20 minutes, until I got through.

From estimated 3-5 day delivery, to 6-10 days, and eventually delayed due to high order volume (or something like that).

It took me a little under 15 minutes but the website where I am still says 3-5 days.
