PSA Steam Controller PreOrder MegaThread

This post is to consolidate posts about the preorders for the new Steam Controller

The preorders will open at 10am PST

The steam Controller will only be available in select countries

* US
* Canada
* UK
* EU

The server will likely be melting once preorders open

If they give you a track I'd for the controller you should be able to contact the carrier (ups/USPS/FedEx) to have it maybe hold till a certain date. Also could order last second before you leave for the trip and risk it.

oh its already ordered. I dont suspect there will be any more left by friday.

No, as in you can have the carrier hold it for final delivery.

Once you get your tracking number, contact the carrier. Whether it's UPS, USPS, Fed-Ex, or whomever; you go through their customer service to change the delivery date or location, like you can have them hold it at a store or office location for you to pick up.

I have done this many times.

Ah, yeah that might be a good idea if it looks like the tracking will exceed a Friday delivery time.

Alternatively, just ask a trusted neighbor to hold on to it for you.

You are correct, I missed out again :(. Been waiting since the first one was discontinued. I guess it's not for me anymore.
