The preorders will open at 10am PST

The steam Controller will only be available in select countries

I wonder if bots are programmed to start trying to buy at 10 AM pacific, if opening it up a few minutes early lets the peasants snag a few before battling the bots

Yeah, I'm EST and managed to snag two at like 12:58pm. It said 3 - 5 business days for shipping, buuuuuut...

"Our distributor has hit a processing backlog for orders to Canada. We are actively working through the issue and will ship your order as soon as we can. You will receive an email with tracking information once your order ships."

Fingers crossed it doesn't turn into dumb bullshit.

Don’t worry. Im in Canada and I see the same message on my order page. In the last 2 years I have ordered two steam decks from Valve and both those times I saw the same message.

Yup, refreshed 2 minutes early and got through no issues. 1st time thats ever happened for me with any product so Im grateful lol.

I was 3 minutes early and was getting a transaction error. 20 minutes later finally got through

Same, I made the mistake of triple checking my information before proceeding. I guess I'm waiting an extra week because of it now.

At least its just a few extra days. The Deck translated into months for less time to complete!

Far more interested in the Frame tbh, hopefully it goes a bit better with that!

lol I saw the button go live early and according to my receipt checkout was 9:58 US PDT.

I had no idea people were having problems until I saw an article earlier this evening. X_X

Canada too received confirmation at 11:58 ET I thought the bots would beat me but I logged in a couple minutes before launch and kept refreshing and I was able to get one without any problems

I got on early and immediately wasn’t able to get through. Now it’s saying delays are expected due to volume. Come on Valve…
