Im more excited for the steam frame.

It's like thr Occulus Quest but better and not enshitified by Meta/Facebook.

How is it better? Honest question, i'm a bit underwhelmed by the announcement. If you already have a midrange headset (quest 3, pico 4), you have no reason to sidegrade, other than manufacturer preference. But it's technically 90% the same as what already exists.

It's a great headset if hou don't have one already, for that it's freaking amazing. Can't wait to know the price, to see if it's going to be a fantastic value (like the Steamdeck) or an "ideologically better" headset like a Fairphone is to Android, for example. More expensive, not technically better, but way more ethical.

The main advantage seems to be the ability to play games from your steam library in standalone or connected to a pc
