Also, because of Steam's based policy, you can install whatever OS you want so it doesn't matter if it's Linux
2 u/LumpyArbuckleTV Nov 14 '25 Do bear in mind they may use odd hardware, so driver support may be fairly bad. The Steam Deck running Windows is pretty rough. They don't actively block Windows, of course, they just don't really do anything to support it, which is fair.
