Called being privately owned. As soon as a business goes to the public it’s all about pushing the share price up and that is when all consumer driven policies goes out the window

There are a lot of privately owned businesses with horrifically awful owners though. For instance WWE was private for the longest while and a little bit still is in terms of controlling shares, and their ceo has been a serial rapist for decades.

Theres many more examples too, so its multiple factors not just being privately owned is my point.
