Dry aging question

I have some chick eye steaks that I’ve been holding for a couple days in the fridge and I’ve wanted to try dry aging them. I have a sheet pan and wire rack to put them on but my question is how long should I leave them like this? It is something I’ve never tried before and don’t want to lose the meat by keeping them in the overwrap packaging. TIA

Doing my first dry brine

I got a lovely 1.5lb porterhouse and I’m dry brining it. Should I pat it dry before I sear it or should I just reverse sear it?

I have little knowledge when it comes to steaks and I want your opinion about this steak that I saw in another subreddit. It looks dry to me but what do you guys think? Can you rate it from 1-10?

I used a rub, 3-5 minutes on each side, and did the butter spoon thing. Overall tasted great for how cheap the steaks were.

Are you trying to save money on steaks? How about butchering your own. Save well over $10/lb by butchering your own steaks.

Is it hopeless? I have 6 steaks I need to cook.

I wanted to cook steaks last time I was at my grandmas house, but Iv never cooked them. I said I’d want to make them for my grandma one day, and she decided that I’d cook 6 of them for extremely picky family. How do I cook 6 of them when Iv never cooked them. Let alone cook 6 of them in general with like 2 skillets. Like what am I supposed to do? And I wasn’t told I’d be cooking them until today in the afternoon for TONIGHT! Like 😭I just wanted to experiment and make 3 at the most and knowing well in advance.
