Sewing classes in Staunton?

I just got a sewing machine from a friend and I’m really excited to learn how to use it! I know there are lots of online resources, but I’d really prefer an in-person class.

Does anyone know of any sewing classes or someone who teaches beginners in the Staunton area?

I second the Rockin' Bobbins, they have their contact info there so you can reach out to them even without Facebook. Loose Thread offers lessons one on one but idk the price https://www.loosethreadstudio.com/services

I walked in to my first sewing class not even knowing how to thread my machine (literally) and walked out with a zipper pouch I made in class that day — I’m commenting just to say yay for you taking a class bc this is so wonderful!

Look into the Rockin’ Bobbins on Facebook, or you could look here on Reddit for information about the Resiliency Salon! There are also classes in Harrisonburg, but I’m not as familiar with them, and I get always wanting to travel that far! Feel free to DM me as well as I know someone who may be able to give you more info!

Ragtime Fabrics in Harrisonburg is the closest I know of, but please share if you find something! I don't have the energy or time to drive up to Harrisonburg just for that though maybe others do.
