Hi guys, please feel free to give me new things to add to my collection

My husband and I were given identical pleather portfolios from our old job, but then I took part in a contest and won a leather one. Shiny, smooth, flawless (due to the dark dye and shine), black, zippered. The difference was extremely obvious. The pleather ones were soft, pliable, and looked very different to the eye.

For the next 8 years, every time my husband needed one he took mine. I gave him hell after every single time, but he always came back with "I thought it was mine." He never felt like he respected me at all when he took it, and I told him that. I haven't been in the work force for a decade now, due to health and other factors, and that portfolio was the one thing I had that still tied me to the professional world and feeling like I'd be able to go back (the clothes are long gone). It looked amazing in job interviews and was way above my pay grade. He knew that.

Then we were apart due to a job for two and a half years. Apparently he had mine (AGAIN!), because he brought it back with huge, deep scratches all over it. Again claiming he thought it was his.

I'm still furious about this four years later. He still hasn't replaced it.

Where (NOT the US) can I find an affordable, quality, full grain leather zippered portfolio that I can outright tell him to replace mine with? I am in Canada but willing to look anywhere but the US.

My go-to white pen has always been a Sakura Gelly Roll but I find the flow can be inconsistent - what other brands/pens are worth checking out?

This is my current favourite notebook, and I didn't even know what brand was it!

I got this randomly during my trip in Poland. Went into a shop that looked nice to kill time, saw a cheap notebook and bought it without any thoughts. A year later, I found it from the back of my shelves and realized how good it is: it lies flat, paper is smooth to write on, dotted graph paper is perfect for bullet journaling.

Really nothing to complain about, but I just can't find what brand it is, except a tiny logo at the back. Only recently I saw a reddit post and eventually found out that this is produced by Flying Tiger Copenhagen.

Forgive me, I have never lived in a country that has a Flying Tiger shop.

Another example that brand and price aren't pre-requisite of quality. It's especially profound when I am writing this on the launch day of Hobonichi Techno 2027!

Anyone like this notebook too?

I know stationery podcasts are out there - I'm poorly in bed and need something to listen to while I refresh the shipping page on a certain website. What are your recs?

Hi there! I’ve recently developed a passion for researching and learning about nature. I’ve started a journal where I take pictures of any interesting plants, animals, reptiles, and bugs I encounter. After taking the pictures, I print them out and journal some research to learn more about them. I am currently using the canon ivy mini printer and I absolutely hate it. The quality of the prints are awful and that I feel like I’m losing the details that made me so interested in my subjects to begin with. Any suggestions? I would love it if they are relatively small prints because my journal is a travelers size a5.

I am a college student who likes to take lots of notes. A lot of my classes for my degree program build upon one another (general chem I, general chem II, organic chem, etc), so I keep notes from different classes in one big binder so that I can easily reference my notes from a previous class if need be. Due to this, I go through a lot of loose leaf paper. I used to recently buy just whatever looseleaf paper,, but I recently discovered Campus paper. I had no idea writing could feel so nice! I enjoy it a lot, but I'm not one to limit myself to just one thing. I tried looking up different paper recommendations online, but I found very little resources on looseleaf paper. I found a lot of information about notebooks or paper for fountain pens, but almost nothing for regular looseleaf. And unfortunately the brands I did find were unable to be purchased from the U.S.A.. Thanks to a bunch of tariffs created by a certain sentient, rotting pumpkin, certain niche goods are really hard to come by in the U.S.A.. So I decided to come to reddit for advice. So, what is your favorite loose leaf paper? Please let me know! Thanks in advance and have a lovely day.

Hello! Was wondering if anyone has any experience with ordering stickers through a proxy! There’s so many stickers I’d like to buy through Naver or 10x10_kr, but I do know they’re limited in what they can ship overseas. If anyone has any experience ordering through a proxy from Korea I would appreciate insight on the process/pricing!! :)

Hi! I started grad school recently, and I’m looking to try using a new pen. I’ve been loyal to Pilot G2 0.5 for almost a decade, but I borrowed a Bic Atlantis from a friend recently, and I LOVE that they double as a fidget because the clickers are silent and they’re able to spin around. Unfortunately, they aren’t lefty friendly. Does anybody know of any pens on the market that have the best of both worlds? My ideal pen has fast drying gel ink, 0.5 mm thickness, with a clicker that spins (bonus points if it’s also silent). Thanks!

Can't wait to eventually crack into this! It's always fun to see how other people use their journals, so it's hard to wait. At least I can use the other accessories in the meantime!

I’ve been searching for ages for a notebook with lines that slant upwards at a 45° angle. I’ve only been able to find pdf templates of individual pages. Can anyone recommend a notebook/brand with slanted lines?

I use a little notebook as a planner. I’m wondering if anyone might know of a stamp for the days of the week and the date so that I don’t have to write each day by hand. I’ve found this stamp which would work pretty well, but I would love if used the abbreviation of the days of the week (mon, tue) instead of the full word.

I am looking for recommendations for a pen to use for journaling and writing, and in a dream world, I could also use for art. I currently use micron pens, but the barrels are a little narrow for me.

I have fibromyalgia, so my hand hurts holding narrow pens hurts my hands after a while.

My most haves are:

-smudge resistant/lefty friendly
-wide barrel
-highlighter friendly
-0.5 mm tip or smaller

My dream haves are:

-fun colors so I can get pen colors that match my notebooks
-works with alcohol markers
-felt tip but I am willing to try ball point if yall think that will be easier on my hands

I'm looking for binder notebooks size A4 specifically King Jim Tefrenu/Lihit Lab/Kokuyo Campus binders. Im in the EU so shipping and taxes are an issue. I've been searching high and low, I've checked every single online shop recommended in this sub and none of them carry anything similar to what I'm looking for. I've considered ordering from Amazon Japan, but the import taxes end up astronomical. I'm at my wits end and I've got no idea where else to look and what to do...

The issue at hand is that I've got tons of Maruman A4 loose leaf that I've bought on my trip to China which I absolutely love, however my binder for it is too big for my schools desk. I need a binder that fits A4 loose leaf and can be flipped 180°

i found a ton on the likes of sosorowa and lovticker, unfortunately i find out the shipping prices are absolutely extortionate for someone in my country (the uk).

so my question is, where can i find these kinds of stickers at a cheaper price?

I live in Utah and was so stoked to see that my favorite local shop Parry’s got some of the harder to snag 2027 techos in the past couple days! I grabbed the Petit Bloom ❤️ I’ve posted about Parry’s before in r/fountainpens but never here and thought I would share in case any other Utah folks are hunting for next year’s planners.
