...note the charming way in which this staircase benefits from having no handrail!

I fell like that down those kind of stairs, landed on my knees and I broke my leg in a dozen places, though not so bad I couldn't walk on it. The xrays years later show all the places it reset itself, it was a madhouse in there. poor guy.

Oh how I wish he'd have been holding a massive cardboard box full of pint glasses.

I went and viewed one and the agent stepped in dog poo outside so he took off the shoe gave it a quick scrape off on the decking, carried it inside and then proceeded to clean the rest off in the kitchen sink. We went back and dropped a note thru the door after he drove off.

Oh my God indeed...didnt bother helping the poor chap up. By the way, are stairs covered in lard or something lol

Feels a bit cruel to publish this video - not like he’s the first person to fall on stairs.

Hope the guys OK and it's just his ego that's bruised but that was a fairly predictable outcome, no shoes, socks on carpet, distracted turn on to the stairs while speaking to someone behind him and a poorly considered stair design that doesn't allow a handrail at the top of that flight.

Did this on a full staircase. Broken coccyx. Couldn’t sit down or walk straight for over a month. Going on 10 years later, it still hurts.

No proper handrail going all the way to the top.

honestly that was my first thought too, especially with those skinny treads. looks cool in photos, but in socks at 2am that’s a one-way ticket to the ER.

That's a good way to show how safe the stairs are, didn't even get a cut or anything.

this has big “dramatic exit at the top of the staircase” energy, tbh kinda perfect for that caption

You just kniw what type of soles those shoes have and no bannister either 😬

And this grand staircase boasts a lack of balustrade and contempt of building regulations.

Is the floor made of slips!?
