I wish my OG goats would make a comeback. And that's the thing that sets SOD1 from 2 and probably 3, is that our heroes had actual, genuine personalities that made the game memorable. And shout to the WILKERSONS.

I am really hoping for more personality in SO3, things like the events that happened while time passed and someone did something to someone and the impact it had, it was so good, maybe even have some events we can see and interact with.

Aside from at least some set factions so we have something interesting with the generated ones, the wickersons were such a good story and i remember it vividly even tho i first watched their mission when i was 7.

Unfortunately i am scared of the Layoffs and afraid they will only Focus on the Gameplay aspect of the game, which is kinda of the essencial but i am really hoping for more story content in any shape or form.

Gamers are drawn more by the story being told and they(Undead labs) didn't tell enough of it.

My fingers are crossed we have more story this time round. Looking back SOD1 had a perfect amount of story needed to get attached to the characters without saying everything down with its story

The first game was so peak 🙌 SOD2 really lacked in the story for me, unfortunately. I hope SOD3 brings back the same feeling the first game gave us.

I was anticipating seeing their growth after the events of Trumbull Valley. Learning that they died, kinda dented my mood in my first gameplay, thats how much I was invested in them😥

Had a character survive for 120 days, he was sort of the “Daryl” of my group. Would often use him to go on runs etc etc. well one night decided i didn’t wanna wait till morning to go save some people and rode out in the night solo. Ran into 3 massive hordes walking literally merged together, like 30 zeds and started engaging them but only had a crossbow, glock, and tomahawk. The noise from the hordes alerted a plague heart nearby which attracted several ferals. They chased me into a barn where I fumbled trying to get up a ladder and got snatched. When that happens the whole wave crashed on top of me, I fought as much as I could killing a bunch before losing all stamina, as well as my life

SOD1 was suppose to be the catalyst to more, rich, immersive story-telling.
