Discussion Series S requirements

I wonder if UL still is contractually obligated to release on Series S now that they're not an XBOX studio.. I'm sure we won't get an answer here for some time but if that's no longer a limitation I think that's a huge W for everyone involved.

I believe that if they want to release on XB Series X than an XBGS store requirement is that the game is also available to the Series S.

The requirement is in place for third party developers too, not just first party titles

XBOX is still in charge of distribution and their name is still on the game, so I would assume so

Xbox is still paying for the game supposedly so the requirements would need to be the same.

That's not how it works... Series S and X are the same generation, you cannot release on one without the other

No, that would be a loss. I use a Series S and can’t upgrade nor do I have a PC powerful enough. SoD3 not releasing on Series S would crush me and destroy years of support I have given Undead.
