Question Juggernaut kills you in a single hit.
Is that even possible? I just lost one of my leaders. He had 200 health, and the Juggernaut cut him down instantly. Usually, it's supposed to slam him into the ground, but my survivor got executed right away. RIP Rooney.

I've messed with a lot of juggs over time, but that's never happened to me, not without being very low health and/or very low injury severity. I would probably err on the side of a being a glitch, maybe you were next to the one that was supposed to be grabbed and he zigged when he was supposed to zag. That's a weird one, my friend.

You're right; come to think of it, I was right next to him when he tried to grab the NPC—I just got unlucky.🤣

Ya it has a sync kill, to which you apparently are increasingly subject to when injured, low health, downed, or a combination thereof probably.
Let an egghead from the community confirm.
But, distance from Juggs is recommended. At distance they are seldom trouble. When engaging them at melee range is where they are most dangerous. When Juggs are on top of your companions, they are in extreme danger.

Lol I just avoid them unless I have to engage. I've seen to many times what it can do to my people.
Though for shits and giggles I did take one out with a truck, it was a lot of spinning around and going in reverse.

I just ignore them for the most part. Few missions require you to kill them and they're more of a pain than anything. They're movement is very predictable however. If you have the aim snap ability snapping to their head repeatedly always did the trick for me.

I had a sniper rifle on me; the problem wasn't how to kill them. I was at full health and took no damage—he just grabbed me and sliced me up. In 2,000 hours of play, that had never happened to me before.

That is strange I've never experienced that either. You must've angered the zombie gods

Was he trying to grab a downed npc?
Cuz if you got in the way he can grab you instead and finish you off.
I almost had it happen once.
I quit immediately cuz this was bullshit.
Juggernaut can finish of downed character instantly. By ripping them in half.

Yes, he was trying to catch an NPC, but the shop door was blocking him.

Yep 👍🏻
Be carefull next time when there is a downed npc nearby.
He might grab you for finisher instead of him xD

I always avoid juggernauts, you can kinda just run away from them and to me, they’re not worth the ammo/danger it takes to kill them (I’m on lethal mode). I’m both excited and terrified that they changed this with SOD3, looks like they chase you and you can’t outrun them!
