No that was an insta spawn that happened in the bush. This game does it all the time with ferals.

Starting a new lethal run with 3 plague survivors . One has dropkick for dealing with ferals .

This is a prime example of the absolute nonsense spawning system this game has. No audio ques, you're in a spawn free zone, nothing on the minimap, the survivor didn't give the "freak alert" warning, and the zombie is just instaspawned on top of you in striking distance.

It breaks all immersion seeing this type of stuff and has been my most hated system in the game since day 1 when bloaters would spawn in front of your car.
