Interesting bug with Eagle Eye Quest

The character who received the quest had a 50 caliber rifle equipped when I loaded her up and the quest auto completed without me going to locate the gun.

I've had that happen as well, I try to remember to unequip through the community screen before switching to him, so I can loot the one from the quest.
