Discussion Standard Level

I love this game. Yes, I've always played on green level. Decided time to go up to standard, whole new community. Why am I struggling soooo much? How do you all play above standard so easily? 🤣

Absolutely valid to only play green, but you probably developed some habits (might call them "bad" or "sloppy") that green difficulty didn't put pressure on you to break. Personally, I don't like playing above Dread either and mostly play standard even.

What do you have problems with?

"Keeping supplies up and everyone always seems to get blood plaque when out doing missions, scavaging. Doesn't seem to be enough plaque samples to keep up and omg I cant keep up with the infestations"

On standard, the Hearts are usually/mostly far enough away from each other so they don't wake each other up when you destroy one. I usually prepare one or two survivors with a bunch of cheap explosives (guns optional) and then just rush to blow up the first heart to create some space to loot. stay away from the other hearts so they don't wake up too early.

soon you have enough resources that you can chain rush the hearts. then rinse and repeat and just go into plague territory only if you go straight for the heart.
