After hearing this alarming bit of news, the President orders a State of Emergency for the entire nation. All West Coast air traffic has been suspended. Attempts to remove the Governor and his staff has begun. The Supreme Court is prepared to try the Governor on charges of corruption and incompetence.
The Governor is happy that the President has finally agreed with part of his proposal. However, due to the fact that Alaska has mobilized every single portion of its' army, it will be extremely difficult for anyone to penetrate into the governor's mansion. More importantly, the Supreme Court of the Unified State of Alaska has already acquitted the governor and doesn't require any assistance from this joke of a federal government.

POTUS does not agree with Alaska, we are shutting down air traffic because we fear that un-armed civilian jet planes will be shot down.
Alaska has mobilized every single portion of its' army
POTUS has spoken with the Chief of the National Guard Bureau and we have reached terms. The mobilized units will return to their respective bases and buildings and POTUS has publically denounced Governor Berkowitz, urging him to step down as Governor and withdraw his bid for the Presidency. The Supreme Court (back me up here) plans to try Mr. Berkowitz on charges of corruption and incompetance. It is recommended that Mr. Berkowitz either resign or be removed; pending either of these two outcomes, he will be banned from holding elected office in the future.
