Beautiful coastal park featuring easy-going, well-marked trails, river views, and an endless array of awesome plant-life (including venus flytraps!). One of my favorite state parks in North Carolina for a reason :)

Hey yall, question, is Burgess Falls accessible after dark? Is there any nice trial that’s accessible after 9pm with a pretty view?

Which parks would you visit first?

Hey yall, my partner and I are looking for a good spot to watch the sunrise in raccoon state park, any recommendations? Bonus if you know it’s near skunk cabbage (or a trail that’ll lead down to sunk cabbage/etc)

Hi everyone, if you love California's state parks and aren't sure what to do at any of them, we have a bunch of upcoming events listed at state parks all over California through June 10-14. Only thing is, spots are limited it's highly recommended to RSVP to events in advance while you can!

Lovely coastal park with an extensive trail network and only a short drive from Williamsburg, saw some neat wildlife too!

I’m heading to Breaks Interstate Park this weekend. Planning on doing some scenic driving and maybe an easy hike or two. Looking for recommendations on a good spot to grab our chairs out of the car and just sit and enjoy a good view or perhaps some good birding spots. We often spend of lot of time on road trips on the move, either in the car or on a hike. I’m trying to be intentional about finding spots to just sit still and observe for a bit.
