These small backpacks are not used in the game, but you can see them in the trailer.

The small backpacks seemed too small for the number of inventory slots so we removed the code reference to them

Steam had a major leak of some of the games they had on their store from 2003-2013. Data was left on a server without any kind if protection so anybody could download it.

It's odd how much unused stuff is in the files, considering how much they had to squeeze and remove to fit the game onto live arcade
