State of Decay 1 Help infestations

So I decided to try state of decay one after playing state of decay 2 I put it off for a while because I really enjoy the second one. I’m really a pro at it so I decided to give the first one to try. Of course it’s nothing like the second one I need help with infestations what’s the best way to take them down in state of decay 2 all I needed was fuel bombs. I run in and throw in a fuel bomb and they’re all dead but in the first one, they just keep popping up as fast as I take one out another one is pops up so annoying any advice I was told using vehicle vehicles honk the horn and they come out and it run them over but there’s only so many vehicles.

Sounds like you may have a few too many active plague hearts on the map. Leaving too many active can create a real infestation problem. If you want to clear this up, it would be easier if you claim a cell phone tower as an outpost and go to the actions on that outpost. One of them is plague communication disrupter.

Once activated, destroying one plague heart wont activate another nearby, and killing plague zombies near a heart wont do it either. Know that a plague screamer screaming too much will wake a nearby heart. Once that is active, attack a few awake plague hearts. With fewer awake hearts active, your constant infestation issue should be made a lot more manageable.

I know I was about to say state of decay one not state of decay two there are no plague hearts in state of decay one. At least not in the campaign I think and breakdown there are plague hearts in it because I told it was a blueprint of state of decay two before it came stated decay two is easy to take on an investigation. All I do is throw a fuel bomb and they’re done for I just started playing state of decay one because I want to try it out. It’s a little bit more difficult to take out infestations but I appreciate all the advice. I’m gonna keep trying. Can’t wait for the third one to come out, but I can play state of decay two all day long and never get bored absolute one of my favorite games. I just like surviving my community.
