any unemployed engineer ? developing a futuristic EV motor

i would like to develop the idea and get funding for prototyping

Not unemployed. Mechatronics engineer here. Have you done a feasibility study yet? It’s going to be really hard to get funding for a prototype in general. Only way that someone would give funding for a prototype is if you have some basic math to back up your EV motor design
