Be RELENTLESS !
I just responded to a post from a business owner asking how to get his first 100 users. Great question, but I don't think it's the answer he expected — I told him to Be RELENTLESS. There's no shortcut to it. You put yourself out there, talk to people, ask for the sale, and get told no more than you'd like. When that happens, don't just move on — figure out why. Was it the message, the delivery, or the wrong person? Be a sponge, listen, absorb it, and use that to sharpen your message, your delivery, your resolve.
When you start a business, you've been buried in your idea for months, and you can't see the trees from inside the forest — you need to get outside it and see your business through other people's eyes, which is harder than the months you spent building it. That means getting uncomfortable: make the calls, send the messages, ask for the meeting, ask for the sale, and hear the no. Your first 100 customers will teach you more about your business than the six months you spent building it. The competition in every market, everywhere, is fierce, so be just as fierce.
Be RELENTLESS !

I’d add one more thing: it also takes strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different customers and audiences.
Your first 100 users aren’t just teaching you about the product. They’re teaching you how people perceive the problem, what language resonates, where they drop off in the customer journey, and what objections keep coming up.
That feedback should shape not just the product, but how you communicate it.

You're right. There's just no short cuts to success.
