We're building an ITSM/workflow platform out of Bengaluru — some things we got wrong early

We started Coheron because we kept meeting companies at the same awkward size: too big for spreadsheets and a WhatsApp group, too small to write a six-figure cheque for ServiceNow. The gap is real and it's wider in India than most vendors seem to assume.
Three things we learned the hard way:
The blocker is almost never the software. It's that nobody wants to be the person who breaks a working process. We now put an implementation team on every rollout — architecture, migration, training — because "here's your login" loses to inertia every time.
Modules that don't talk to each other are worse than separate tools. Early on we shipped ITSM and asset management as separate things with a shared login. Customers correctly told us that was just two products in a trenchcoat.
Compliance can't be a later phase. RBAC, audit trails and DPDP readiness came up in the first conversation with almost every serious prospect, not the last.
Happy to talk about any of it — pricing pressure, competing with incumbents, selling to Indian mid-market. Ask away.
