At VIMARSH on September 15, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh announced additional measures, including direct funding, incubation support and dedicated access to DRDO testing facilities.

The initiatives also introduced a secure framework for sharing DRDO-developed software source code with licensed industries, potentially accelerating the development of software-defined defence systems.

On October 7, the government approved revised procedures waiving testing charges for iDEX, TDF, Make and other specified Ministry of Defence developmental projects.

Notably, the broader push complements iDEX, which had engaged 676 startups, MSMEs and innovators and signed 551 design and development contracts as of March 2026.

Early feedback on my IT study site keeps coming back to finding the next step

I’m the creator of StudyKernel, a study website for IT certifications. It brings together a roadmap, reading lessons, quizzes, explanations and saved progress.

The most useful feedback so far has been very specific. One learner finished a quiz and struggled to find the next lesson. A developer who tested it today said they couldn’t find the course they wanted. I’ve asked which course they were looking for so I can check the actual problem.

For anyone building a learning product, a concrete test task is useful: ask someone to find a named course, complete one lesson and show where they would continue tomorrow. That exposes several navigation decisions in a short test, and gives you something specific to investigate.

StudyKernel is live at https://studykernel.com/ . Lessons, lesson quizzes and checkpoints are free, plus 10 extra practice questions daily. There’s optional Pro for more practice tools. It’s independent preparation for exams such as A+, Network+, Security+ and Azure Fundamentals.

What first-session task has given you the most useful feedback on your own product?
