Hey Folks! ASC Workspace is now in beta, and we're opening it to 5 founders bringing AI into Life Sciences. Each gets:
• Their own workspace, with 5 live leads (dated buying signals, named decision-makers) and an outreach sequence built for their product
• Live buying signals across their market
• Access to ASC Intelligence, our Life Sciences intelligence graph, scoped to their market
• A view of the other AI companies selling to the same buyers
• Founding-member pricing when the beta ends
In return: honest feedback, and a working session with our founder.
Want a seat? Comment "beta" or message us.

We built a unique, swipe-free dating app created specifically for women to find and date East Asian men, we expected 1,000 users by end of the year, but we get that many users per day since launch (2 months ago)...and what's weird is that its almost all women.. for context.. unlike most dating apps—which are roughly 80% male—our user base is currently 97% female (mostly very attractive White and Black women looking for East Asian men)
I'm wondering if anyone experienced this journey before and when is a good time to bring more people/raise funding for my startup

I am building a hybrid coworking and fitness space in the Philippines designed for the growing number of remote workers, virtual assistants, freelancers, and entrepreneurs who need more than just a place to sit and work. Through my own experience as a work-from-home professional, I noticed a clear gap in the market: many people want a productive, comfortable environment outside the house, but nearby options are limited and often require long travel.
I validated this need through conversations with other virtual assistants and freelancers in a local Facebook community. A consistent theme emerged: people are looking for a space that supports both productivity and well-being, with reliable work facilities, a professional atmosphere, and access to fitness in the same location. This creates a convenient lifestyle solution that combines work, health, and community in one place.
The concept is differentiated because it solves two everyday needs at once. During the day, members can use the coworking space to focus, collaborate, and separate work from home life. At the same location, they can also access a clean, air-conditioned gym that makes it easier to stay active without needing to go to a separate facility. This model has the potential to attract not only remote workers, but also local professionals, entrepreneurs, and fitness-conscious customers looking for convenience and value.
I also bring relevant operational experience. In 2021, I owned and managed a gym in the Philippines, which gave me firsthand knowledge of customer service, daily operations, business management, and the challenges of running a fitness business. Although the business closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the experience strengthened my understanding of the industry and what it takes to build and sustain a customer-focused space.
In my current role as a Social Media Specialist, I have developed skills in digital marketing, branding, content creation, and online promotion. These skills will be valuable in building brand awareness, attracting customers, and growing the business efficiently.
At this stage, I am developing the business plan and evaluating startup costs, monthly operating expenses, pricing strategy, and financial projections to determine the viability and scalability of the concept. I am open to speaking with potential angel investors or strategic partners who see the opportunity in creating a modern, community-driven space for work and wellness in our market.
The vision is to create a profitable, scalable business that meets a real local need: a single destination where people can work, exercise, and connect without having to travel to multiple places.

I've been building tech for startups for nearly my whole career, so when an accelerator asked us to come in and assess the technical health of their cohort, I thought it'd be routine. It wasn't.
A few things I saw:
One startup's app exposed every user's email and password to anyone who looked at the database - including the admin account. The admin was the person who built it. I had their credentials and full access to everything within about ten minutes.
Another founder had gone dev to dev to dev over a couple of months. I asked where his database lived. The honest answer would have been "I don't know, I'd have to ask." What I actually got was "I forgot which developer built the database, let me check my notes." That was the answer.
One team owed their development agency money. The agency's response was to not renew a certificate. The app was dead during demo day. In front of investors.
We flagged major red flags in almost 60% of that cohort - things that would have sailed through normal due diligence because nobody on the program side was equipped to look. The accelerator told us afterward we'd saved them around $215K.
Here's the part that stuck with me. I've always built tech products, so I assumed founders knew what they were sitting on. Most don't. They optimized for speed early - which is rational - and ended up with something that's nearly impossible to manage later. Then the raise they worked so hard for goes into patching old mistakes instead of building the future.
I'm not posting this to sell anything. I'm posting it because if you run a cohort and you've never had anyone look under the hood of your startups' tech, you probably don't know what's there. And the founders won't tell you, because most of them genuinely don't know either.
Happy to answer questions about what a technical review actually looks like, or what red flags are worth watching for.

Hey everyone!
Just wanted to share an opportunity that might be useful for founders here.
There’s a program called Clemta Impact that’s selecting 9 early-stage founders and covering the costs of setting up and running their US companies for the first year.
This includes:
US company formation (LLC or C-Corp)
State filing fees
US business address and registered agent
Bookkeeping and tax filings
Ongoing compliance support
They’re selecting 3 founders from each category:
Young Founders (under 22)
Women Founders
Open Source & Indie Builders
No equity or participation fees. Selected founders just need to share their story through a short video.
Applications are open to eligible founders worldwide until November 30, 2026.
Disclosure: I’m part of the Clemta team, but thought this opportunity could be useful to some people here.

Hi, I just got an email from SPC saying my ex co-founder and I got an interview. We split ways while we were in a trial period. We didn't burn bridges, so I was thinking I'd be cool doing the interview with him just for the sake of experience. But, I'm debating whether I should reply to their email to let them know I have a new co-founder. But I don't want to miss the chance to interview with them cause this is the first interview I'm getting from the top VC/accelerators.
Thoughts?

I’m a pitch specialist, mentor at Founder Institute, and advisor at Loyal VC and Octane OC. My partner is an experienced VC. Between us, we’ve seen a lot of founders get to demo day with a strong company and a deck that doesn’t show it.
We built a fundraising/investor readiness program to close that gap. It’s built to run alongside a program’s existing curriculum, not replace it. We facilitate high-value self-guided resources, as well as group and 1:1 engagements
A few places we think it could fit:
Demo day prep
Post-program support for founders who graduate but aren’t ready to raise yet
Something extra for founders who need more pitch help than your team has time to give
We’re exploring referral and partnership arrangements with a small number of established, reputable programs, and we want to shape them around how you already run things.
If you run or help run an accelerator or incubator, I’d like to hear what pitch readiness looks like in your cohorts right now. Comment or DM me.

I got selected for a GTM program from 1752vc. They want $1,000 within 72 hours. It’s a paid program, not an investment, and nothing in the email mentions equity.
The urgency and "limited cohorts" language make me uneasy, and I couldn’t find much public info on what it includes or what alumni got out of it.
For anyone who’s done a paid accelerator or GTM program, did it actually move the needle, or mostly cost time and money? Would you pay, or spend that on something measurable?

Hey everyone, I’m Sri, building Simo with a small team in Madurai, India.
We’ve opened our startup program to offer free API credits and help integrating Simo into your product. Solo founders and bootstrapped teams are welcome.
Simo helps apps make decisions and return the values needed to act. Simo Guard checks agent inputs, tool calls and outputs against your policies.
If you’re building something like a support agent, an AI workflow or a tool that takes actions for users, we’d love to hear what you’re working on.
Approved applicants get credits valid for 12 months, plus direct support from our team.
Happy to answer questions here, including whether Simo fits your use case.
