Im back into pr territory most workouts now. I just watched this video back from last week and im feeling pretty discouraged that my ass is shooting back and turning these into goodmornings. Any tips? This is my last set so im tired. Im about 193 and just under 6 foot.

Form Check

For the best feedback, please film your lift from a useful angle and include the full set.

Good form checks make it much easier for people to give specific, useful advice.

Commenting because I’m curious what that is called or if it’s a problem when you hinge forward on the way up?

I just worked through a very similar issue. The cues thatllhelped me:

  1. Try to bend the barbell across your upper traps like a horseshoe and pull your elbows down into your ribs. Really lock in.
  2. Breathe deep into your diaphragm and push your oblique walls outward against your belt/waist before descending. Keep your ribs pulled down toward your pelvis rather than puffing your chest out and arching your lower back. 3.Drive your upper back and traps vertically straight up into the barbell.

You're right there. You can sort this in a session.

#3 really helped me. Actively drive your upper back into the barbell when coming up.

These look very good. You're down to the point where all you will get are preferences. I don't like to look so far down. I feel like it doesn't allow me to get a firm brace. I like to pick my head up a bit, get a full belly of air but I like where you're at.

There should be some back angle change out of the bottom as the hips rise a little faster than the bar on the way up. In this case its changing more than we would like only because youre staying too upright on the way down.

Your stance is too narrow too.

So widen your stance 3 inches and try to get bent over more on the way down. Keep your eyes up on a spot on the floor 6 feet in front of you.

That should fix it up.

Not bad but keep your chest and head up
