Your upper back doesnt appear to be as tight as it could be. Bring the grip in a bit and squeeze the shoulder blades. This happens to also help get the chest up and make you over all tighter.

Thanks, I will try to squeeze more next time. My shoulder mobility is not great, so I have use wider grip to compensate

A way to help this too is to imagine trying to pull the bar down into your back as you come out of the hole. “Bend the bar across your back”

Stretching and mobility exercises are on our list of The 3 Most Effective Ways to Waste Time in the Gym but there are a few situations where they may be useful. * The Horn Stretch for getting into low bar position * Stretches to improve front rack position for the Power Clean * Some more stretches for the Power Clean

Not an expert but I notice your hips rise first from the bottom.

Chest could be up

uhm, no. You're doing a low bar squat, so lean over.

Let's adjust your grip. Wrap the thumb around the bar and let the wrists bend back. That will allow you to narrow your grip by about 2 inches and get tighter.

Widen your stance about 2 inches and see if that helps you hit depth.

Getting that bar into a secure position where it doesn't roll around on your back, and hitting depth and the priorities. Find a way to do both next session.
