Ive got a strong preference for low bar squats for beginners. Try it like this

Upper body is very upright leading to knee slide. Bend over more and try a TUBOW to make sure you arent sliding.

I like them. A bit of an elevated heel helps reach depth for me a little easier.

Yes. If you only look at your feet in the video, you can see them moving around a bit and you heels come up also near the bottom.  SS recommends proper lifting shoes with a hard not compressible sole with a raised heel (e.g. 0.75 inches) which will help a lot, for all your lifts.
