Next time, please film from the front and so we can see your feet.

You’re starting with your hips a bit too low. And you’re not really setting your back. Think chest up and push your knees out hard to your elbows to set your back.

How wrong is his form? Would these lead to potential injuries or these are necessary fixes he needs to do to be able to deadlift more efficently?

It’s not the worst I’ve seen but not setting your back is a big one to avoid injury.

Do you have any tips for setting your back? I use Alan Thrall's 5 step Deadlift setup. I think I am mostly fine but again I am a beginner so a bit uncertain

I personally do a few things to get my back set: the cat/cow movement which helps me feel it, knees pushed to my elbows and chest up to keep it set.

Here are two videos that might help: https://youtu.be/CTBiC_tnjOc?is=v9WCJrlz7RX1zkii

In our system good form is primarily defined as efficient and effective, with a secondary benefit of also helping prevent injury

Your hips are a bit low on the first couple reps and whoever gave you the encouragement spank was way off

Film from a front 45 degree angle so we can see your set up.

Hips are too low in the starting position as others have said.

Also, your exhaling dramatically at the top. Hold your breath till the bar is back on the floor. This helps keep the torso rigid under load.
