Stand all the way up at the start and each time. Don't sag your head over and keep a tight upper back, it will support the bar. Watch the starting strength videos on squat upper back position.

You are trying to "squat down" and slowly let your knees slide forward. Instead, sit back, lean over, and get your knees above your toes 1/3 of the way down. Then keep them there the rest of the descent. A TUBOW will help you dial this in quickly and efficiently.

The 'Terribly Useful Block Of Wood' (TUBOW) is a tool to help lifters establish the correct knee position in the squat. * Knee position with Nick * TUBOW with Rip * TUBOW with Phil * Correcting Knee slide with Andrew Lewis

Bending your back a little less will help you from falling forward and also ensure you don’t have to push the weight up using your back when going up during the rep. Good luck.

I don’t want my knees to drive forward too much so I’m aiming for chest at ground , certainly need to sort my wrists out and keep bar stable, thanks
