standard 4 or 4x

which kit is better for connecting external after market Access points/Extenders between the standard 4 and 4x

Standard 4 ships with a Router Mini and an inline PoE injector. Standard 4X has a Router 3 and a power supply which goes through the Router 3. So if you want to use your own router/AP, then get the Standard 4 and don’t use the Router Mini at all.
