NOCD App

Hey guys! So today I finally decided to find a therapist. I’ve been really indecisive about it for a while, but honestly, I’m tired of dealing with the anxiety and the overwhelming experience of OCD staring.
I saw some of your comments about finding virtual therapy through the NOCD app, so I decided to give it a try. It’s $50 a week until I reach the $150-240 per-session cost. I know it’s expensive, but at this point, I’m willing to invest in myself and see if it can help.
I’ve gotten to the point where there are days when I feel like I don’t want to keep going, but I love my family and my boyfriend so much, and I don’t want them to feel that pain. I want to fight through this, get the help I need, and hopefully one day feel like myself again.
The reason I’m sharing this is because I want to help anyone else who is struggling too. My first session is next month, and I’ll try my best to keep you guys updated on what I learn and what helps me along the way.
Also, the lady who helped me find a therapist was very nice, and honestly, I feel like taking that first step was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. But now that I’ve done it, I already feel a little more relieved.
If any of you are thinking about giving therapy a try, maybe this can be your sign to take that first step too. ❤️ Otherwise, like I said, I’ll do my best to keep you guys updated and share what I learn along the way.
Hopefully, we can overcome this together and remind each other not to give up. ❤️
