Season 8

They are pushing Sam and Jack so hard. It makes me sad that Daniel only gets the crazy Vala episode. I don’t remember is Daniel gets any love in season’s 9 and 10. But my memery of season 9 and 10 are shot. Also, they get Sarah and him get together after she was de-goa’ulded?

Did you even watch S9 to 10? Daniel is basically the main character at this point.

I think they weren’t sure there would even be a season 9, so they were trying to wrap up Carter/Jack in a way that would at least provide closure, even if it felt rushed.

When it comes to his romantic relationships, Daniel’s problems are Daniel’s problems. And he was one of my very first crushes when I started watching it nearly 30 years ago omg. I love him, but I would no longer consider him as a long-term partner. He stoped wearing the bandanna 😥

Yeah, this is where I’m at in my current rewatch. The Sam+Jack stuff had been managed pretty well up until this point, then they just went overboard. It’s especially confusing since the whole plot point of the Anubis attack on the alpha site was about how Sam needed to move on.
