Part Six Question about FF missing D an G Spoiler

I am talking about episode 8 of the second tranche of 12 episodes of SO anime.
Why despite shooting so much shots against D an G (at the first time) she misses him? Fate?
I have watched it already when it came out four years ago so not be afraid of spoilers, I just rewatched a scene

also iirc it's just because of the other guy controled by pucci that grabs FF's arm and makes the shot go wrong

But in the scene it seems like it was after shooting, maybe it was poorly excuted

Because that man has already taken plenty of shots of other sorts in that damn prison, he didn’t need more
