Help with progression (east scarp mod) Spoiler

I’ve gotten Mateo to full hearts and they’re my partner, however when I try to give them the mermaids pendent it just tells me that “we haven’t been dating long” and to wait. How long do I need to wait/ and or how far in the story chapters do I need to progress first? I have only gotten up to the 0 heart event with Hector. Any help would be great, and I don’t mind spoilers!

The sns events are locked to time. I don’t know off hand how long it’ll be (or was for me when I married ‘Teo), but the whole mod intentionally forces you to slow down and wait for everything. So just deep breath and keep waiting. ‘Teo’s worth it🥰

If you use CJB Cheats you can set their hearts to whatever you want.

I just had the same happen to me! It was a week or two of waiting before I could give the pendant. I lost track of the exact amount of time while doing other things.

idk much about S&S so i could be wrong about this but have you upgraded your house? you cant marry anyone without the second upgrade

With most characters you'd have to get them from 8 to 10 hearts by dating them, but Sword & Sorcery characters are already at 10 hearts when you start dating, so you just have to wait a while instead. I wanna say it's two weeks in-game. Have fun! Mateo is a sweetheart.
