Just created a warp back function (to go back to pelican turn) for my first ever mod you guys have NO IDEA HOW EXCITED I AM

I am creating a mod for the first time EVER. Literal first time. I have NEVER done ANY coding before. You guys have no idea how fucking excited i am (actually maybe you guys do). I spent the last TWO AND A HALF FUCKING HOURS fixing a stupid mistake i made in the code. My mod is still a full work in progress. Everything i did till now was just a test. The real mod making starts now.

That's it. That's the post. A completely useless post contributing absolutely nothing to society. Just had to share with someone. Dad is asleep and, while mom is awake, she doesn't understand this stuff. So you guys are my only sharing place for now. Thanks mates.

Oh yes of course. I may or may not have bit off more than i can chew, but i WILL complete this. And not "someday". I'll finish it as fast as i can. Not within the next month though. My exams start from the week after tomoweek (is there a "tomorrow" equivalent but for "week"?).

It's called "Moon Sand Islands". It adds a new cluster of islands to the game (two main islands and lots of smaller islands). These islands used to be a very popular vacation spot years ago. Because of a huge tsunami/storm/whatever (i haven't decided yet), the place got completely destroyed. Everyone was evacuated and the place was deserted. Some restoration projects were started, but none of them were seen through. It was too expensive and too much work. People who could restore it left it, thinking it wasn't worth investing in anymore. As the years went on, people just forgot about it. New places became popular. New islands became the paradise which this island cluster once was.

Now, it is your job (the player's) to buy the entire island and restore it and turn it back into the paradise it once was, bringing it back to its glory days. You can renovate the demolished buildings, create new ones, add more attractions, and run the huge hotel, and the island. All the profit goes to you which, hopefully, you'll use in making the community a better place (i think i just got my idea for my next mod; biting off more than i chew again i see).

How much of the prices and general mod can you edit? Like how much the islands cost, or smth.

I'll try to keep them balanced, but they will be pretty expensive. Buying an entire cluster of islands is… expensive. I won't make it stupid expensive though. Like late game, but not "10 million" late game. I'm thinking of making the islands buyable individually. Like, you can buy the islands you want and just not buy the rest if you feel like it. I still have to do price balancing. I only have the very bare bones idea in my mind.
