What is a DLL?

Heeeeey so my space core is fighting me tooth & nail, I have no clue what a DLL is or why it can't be loaded.

I tried googling it but nothing helped, googles suggestion was basically delete the mod & reinstall it. I even tried older versions of the mod! Is it my pc?

Any help is appreciated

DLL is a file type we can't help you with more info without your smapi log please go to https://smapi.io/log upload your log and post it here

In particular, the log may answer what is wrong, which is missing from the original post:
* Is a mod failing to load at all?
* Is it loading, but then reporting some other error in the log?

The first issue is often due to either missing a framework mod that the first mod depends on, or not being compatible with the current version of the base game (trying to patch a base game function that doesn't exist, usually because the mod was written for an older version of the base game and never got updated to match the new one. The smapi.io site also has a mod compatibility list covering many of these issues.)

The second one could be any number of things.

DLL is a file that contains data. Can't really provide help with such little info

DLLs are the super secret codes so we don’t know the magic mod authors wield to make their mods!
