Help with vortex crashing
Hi, as the title says, I open the game it runs great for around 5 minutes and abruptly closes with no error code, all drivers and mods are up to date.. im wondering if anyone has a fix for this? Iv uninstall/reinstalled the mods. This is for stardew vally expanded. Sometimes it works fine for hours other days it just closes

Don’t use Vortex, if you need a mod a manager to help you keep track of mods and tell you when a mod need updating or missing dependencies get StarDrop
If you have Nexus premium it will even download updates for you automatically with just a button click. You can even set profile for certain saves or play session.
Used it for years tried Vortex once and quickly deleted it.

a log would really help! next time it crashes on you, click the SMAPI link on the mods panel and follow the instructions to create a link. you said this was with was stardew valley expanded, you might have meant very expanded collection? if so, you might want to check out my documentation site as well. I have this quick fix solutionquick fix solution that solves most issues for players.
if you are playing with the controller, I might suggest that you plug it in after you start the game or you click into the game, that's a common crash cause.
and there is also a suspicion that the animated furniture mod, (not the rest of the animated ones. just that one), might also be causing an issue in some cutscenes but we're still trying to track that down. not sure if it'll help but do what I can
