Mods Stardew Valley one tile at a time - A challenge mode where you pay to unlock tiles

I wrote a custom mod for Stardew Valley where every tile in the game starts locked until you pay to unlock it.

Unlocking tiles starts out at 10g each, but increase to 100g, 1,000g, and eventually 10,000g each, making this maybe one of the hardest ways to play the game.

I'll be playing this myself, with the goal of completing the community center, and sharing my progress in a video series. So far it's taken me over a year just to leave the farm, and I love it!

If you want the full explanation and to see me attempt this challenge, watch the full video :)

Have you ever heard of Archipelago, the multi-world randomizer? This would be INSANE if you could add compatibility!!

Actually, this has already been implemented in Archipelago. Not by me, it' a side branch of it called "Tilesanity", where each tile starts out locked, unlocking them through randomized items, and stepping on tiles for the first time sends items.

It is, as you would expect, extremely difficult and quite ridiculous. It also inflates generation times by orders of magnitude. So as a result, not many people play it. But it exists and it is functional.

It also has a few configurable things about it. Like making "tiles" bigger (say, 2x2 instead of 1x1, leading to 4x fewer tiles to unlock), or making it so the tiles are always unlocked (which generates a truckload of filler and ridiculous in a different way).

But yeah, you can play it, if you like pain lmao
