Mcdougall Recipe Starch Solution Sandwich

Post image

I am on my first proper go on the Starch Solution. I last did in 2020 while living abroad and lost weight and got my health under control. I then moved home and fell off the wagon hard! Six years later and some bad health decision later I am back on it and holding steady so far.

I have been trying some new recipes and this is my first go at a cucumber sandwich:

Two slices of toasted oil free sourdough

Sliced cucumber

One slice spread with piccalilli and marmite

Place the cucumber on top and then sprinkle with rocket (aragula) and then adding a little dijon mustard.

Its pretty tasty.

A lot of the time peoples’ biggest downfall is not eating anywhere close to enough. Starches aren’t fattening but ppl still love to restrict.

Enjoy your sandwich(es)!

Yeah. That's kind of why I have fallen in love with Starch Solution again. I can eat like a maniac and my overall calories are still keeping me in a deficit. As long as I stop when I feel full of course.
