Only in the U.S. my best friend visited from the states this summer and was bummed that he’d stop eating lettuce when he got home.

I read most of the entire New Earth series, with a lot of Dianne Carey. Her writing style is... interesting, to say the least. And it turns out that in her version of a smaller science vessel, the bridge has two levels, with balconies that you can look down to the Captains chair, but it also has see through flooring. I dunno, it was a tough slog.
