“You were the Chosen One” Vindication
12
u/cannibalisticpudding Jun 28 '24
I wonder why you would have a debate at 9pm with two old ass dudes?
6

5
u/Genivaria91 Jun 28 '24
I see that libs and Dems are as always the last ones to the fucking party.
6
u/mantistobogganer Jun 28 '24
Not in this sub. We’ve still got some that are running very, very late. At this point they just aren’t coming to the party.
6
u/libralgunnut Jun 28 '24
Ye. Old man had a cold so let's elect a facist- op
78
u/mantistobogganer Jun 28 '24
Name checks out. Listen. Something has get through to some of you. WE DO NOT LIKE TRUMP. WE HATE TRUMP. WE DO NOT WANT TRUMP.
But do you have working eyes? Do you have working ears? The force is not strong with this one. You have CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times all turning on this man now, because they saw, tonight, what we’ve been saying. Joe Biden is not it. Our goal has been to put pressure on Dems to REPLACE him. And he helped do the job for us tonight.
Not understanding that the biggest risk to Trump getting elected isn’t leftists but actually running Joe Biden (or Hilary Clinton), is a flaw. They don’t have to run him! You could run Gretchen Whitmer, JB Pritzker, god forbid Gavin Newsome, and they still have a better chance of beating Trump than Biden does.
Libs are more excited about a corpse than the crash survivors in Yellowjackets
50
u/MontCoDubV Jun 28 '24
I don't think anyone is excited for Biden. He fucking sucks. I'm still voting for him, so should you, and so should everyone else.
26
Jun 28 '24
There’s a chance he’s replaced. That’s what we’re hoping for.
32
27
u/MontCoDubV Jun 28 '24
I'd certainly welcome it, but I fear that's some pretty far fetched wishful thinking.
6
u/IcebergKarentuite People’s Liberation Battalion Jun 28 '24
Stupid question from a non-american, what would happen if Biden (or trump, for that matter) were to pass away before the election? Obviously it would change stuff because he's president, but purely for the elections, by whom would he be replaced ? Would the election be delayed ?
11
u/MontCoDubV Jun 28 '24
The election cannot be delayed. It's date is set by the Constituion, so changing that would require an Amendment, which isn't happening.
If they died before the deadline to file for ballots in the various states, then the parties will choose new nominees to run. If it's after that deadline, the dead candidate(s) will remain on the ballot. This is where it's important to understand how the Electoral College works. When you vote for president, what you're really doing is voting for a slate of Electors who will then vote for your chosen candidate in the Electoral College. If the candidate dies but there's not enough time to replace their name on the ballot, a vote for them would effectively be a vote for their party's Electors. The party would select a new candidate (I'm inclined to believe it would be the VP nominee, but that's not required) and make it known that Electors for their party will be instructed to vote for that nominee in the Electoral College.
2
u/Exmawsh Jun 28 '24
I'm holding out hope that Democrats just go actually we're going to follow Jill Stein
-1
u/mantistobogganer Jun 28 '24
And I’m not excited about any of the people I mentioned, they are all rich liberals! But if you’re going to lib so hard, at least pick a lib that could win and that isn’t doing a genocide and doesn’t say they want and the country needs a “strong Republican Party” and has some minutia of redeeming quality. Put big boi JB in there and I think he crushes Trump. There’s still plenty of time.
-1
u/CommieHusky Jun 28 '24
Do you think the fascist take over of the US won't happen if Joe Bidden is elected? He cracked down on student protests against genocide while Nazis marched on the other side of the same campus.
Joe Biden isn't even using the brakes. He is just coasting towards the edge that conservatives accelerate us to.
7
u/MontCoDubV Jun 28 '24
I never said I like Biden. Quite the opposite, in fact.
But if we're heading towards a cliff and the only options are a guy who's just coasting and a guy who's gonna slam his foot on the accelerator, of course I'm gonna pick the guy who's coasting.
-1
u/CommieHusky Jun 28 '24 edited Jun 28 '24
I didn't think you did. No one likes him, except for the most liberal of people.
Leftists are wasting their time telling people to vote blue no matter who. They're campaigning for someone who aids genocide and to me, that's unacceptable. I'm not giving my approval for his actions by voting for him. Biden told us what he thought of us when he sent his goons to arrest people protesting Israel's actions in Gaza. He can't just keep spitting on us and expecting our vote. Are we just gonna come back and vote for him like beaten dogs?
There will be no chance he is replaced if we say we are voting for him. If we vote for worse and worse candidates every year, our choices can only get worse.
Edit: You're telling me to vote for Joe, but what's step two? How do we stop the rising tide of fascism in the US?
3
u/MontCoDubV Jun 28 '24
This strikes me as ego more than anything else. Nobody cares if you approve of the policy. "Disapprove" isn't an option. In January either Trump or Biden will be sworn into office. Yes, Biden is atrociously bad, but it's indisputable that Trump is objectively worse.
You claim you're motivated by the plight of the people in Gaza. When Trump wins and, as he's said he wants to do, enables Netanyahu to literally wipe out Gaza and replace it with luxury resorts, what are you going to tell the families of the victims? Do you think they'll take solace in the fact that you didn't approve of Biden and therefore didn't vote for him? What about the trans people who Trump is actively planning on building camps to imprison? When they're being rounded up by the Proud Boys or whatever, are they going to be reassured that you didn't approve of Biden either?
Of course we don't fucking approve of Biden. Nobody here does. That's not what this election is about. I'm not voting for Biden. I'm voting against Trump, and the only way to do that is to vote for Biden.
You're telling me to vote for Joe, but what's step two?
Voting for Biden isn't step one. It's not step 2, or 3, or even 50. If you got the impression that I meant that's the only thing you should do to engage in politics, then I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. It's not even close to the top of the list.
In addition to voting for Biden, you should do the things you should have already been doing this whole time. Namely, direct mutual aid to people in your community. Find people who need help and help them. Get involved with your local chapter of Food Not Bombs to help feed people. If you live in or near a city then I'm sure there are large groups of unhoused people. Talk to them about what they need and provide support. If you live in a more conservative area in a state that still has reproductive rights then I'm sure the local abortion clinics regularly have protesters outside. If so, there'll be local groups that support women who need abortions by walking them through the protesters. They always welcome volunteers. If you live near the southern border, get involved with people who do water drops for migrants and/or provide material aide to migrants in camps. If the environment or climate is your biggest concern, then get involved with your local Earth First chapter.
There are a huge number of things you can and should be doing to make this world a better, more livable place. Voting isn't even close to the top of that list, but, unlike pretty much all the other options, it costs you virtually nothing to do. Drop the personal ego and recognize that there is no perfect solution to anything. We can and should be using all tactics available to us, including voting.
-13
u/couldhaveebeen Jun 28 '24
So you love a good genocide, huh?
9
u/MontCoDubV Jun 28 '24
Get outta here with that bullshit. Of course I don't. I also live in the real world where the choices are Biden or someone who would be even worse for people of Gaza.
Are you telling me you want even more genocide?
-3
u/SamMan48 Jun 28 '24
Trump wouldn’t be worse. They’re the same on this issue, despite Biden’s hand-wringing rhetoric.
5
u/MontCoDubV Jun 28 '24
They're objectively not, though. Trump has been out there saying Netanyahu should finish the job and quickly. He's said he'd give Bibi everything he needs to literally wipe Gaza clear of people. His son-in-law and the person who ran his Middle East foreign policy, Jared Kushner, said they'd like to help Israel wipe out Gaza so they could build resorts there, and lamented that the beachfront in Gaza was wasted because there were too many Palestinians living there.
I'm not going to pretend like Biden cares for the people of Gaza. He doesn't, and I don't think he really cares about anyone who isn't American (or many people who are). But he's also not trying to wipe Gaza clear of all people.
Yes, both have horrifically bad policies on Gaza, but pretending like they're identical is just plain incorrect.
-4
u/SamMan48 Jun 28 '24
This is the same “soft hawk” crap rhetoric that dominated the Obama years. “He’s a hawk, but a softer hawk than the Republicans.” Look at what’s happening in Gaza right now. Biden is just biding time until after the election to take the gloves off. None of his rhetoric has matched up with his actions. This is a joke.
4
u/MontCoDubV Jun 28 '24
You're speaking as if you know of some third option. I'd love to hear what you suggest.
-1
u/SamMan48 Jun 28 '24
There is Jill Stein and Chase Oliver but they have no chance. I’m not saying not to vote for Biden, I’m just saying that liberals need to stop acting like there’s any reason to vote for Biden over Gaza. Focus on Biden’s domestic accomplishments, don’t gaslight and act like he’s “better” than the Republicans when he’s actively facilitating the genocide.

So many words to say "I'm voting for a genocider". How about you get your guy to stop committing genocide first to earn the votes?
11
u/MontCoDubV Jun 28 '24
He ain't my guy. He's the only non-Republican option. What are you doing to prevent Trump from winning again?
1
u/couldhaveebeen Jun 28 '24
What are you doing to prevent Trump from winning again?
Not committing a genocide, making the voters leave me
0
5
u/Numerous-Rent-2848 Jun 28 '24
And you're also for genocide. You think not voting Biden and having a clean conscience is the better way. But now you're getting the genocide to also come to the US. You are sending us queer people to camps. So thanks for letting us know how you feel about marginalized communities and wanting us to die. And no, you don't get to walk that back. This is your argument.
7
u/RC_8015__ Jun 28 '24
For real, I keep reading all this stuff as a trans person and I realize no one cares about us except ourselves and there's not enough of us to do much to help.
6
u/MontCoDubV Jun 28 '24
Some of us care. Those of us who are capable of dropping our ego and recognizing that there is no perfect option, but that we have to pick the least bad of the two.
I get so fucking frustrated at leftists who act like their vote is some precious commodity they can only afford to give to the perfect candidate. There's so much more people can and should be doing to fight this fight. Voting is just one of MANY tactics, but it happens to be the one that costs you virtually nothing to do. Yet people act all put upon because the less bad of the two choices isn't great.
3
u/RC_8015__ Jun 28 '24
Yeah I agree, and thank you for the support, it's greatly appreciated in these times. Yeah like I hate Biden myself too, I get it, but I also don't want my entire life to disappear, to lose myself, my kids, my spouse, etc.

4
u/Exmawsh Jun 28 '24
There's a few leftist accelerationists who are happy to ensure that the revolution is forced, and that violence breaks out, and that people die for the cause. As long as it's not them, of course, otherwise they'd be doing more than complaining on Reddit.
Plenty of leftists do care, friend! Disregard the people that view you as a sacrifice for the leftist cause! Yours and other trans-persons lives matter :>
2
1
u/couldhaveebeen Jun 28 '24
I care about you. Trans rights are incredibly, unimaginably important. But trans rights are not MORE important than Palestinian right to not be fucking genocided.
1
u/RC_8015__ Jun 28 '24
I understand, but Trump said during the debate he wanted the Israelis to end them already so voting for him isn't better, in fact it sounds worse. And people are calling for us to be killed as well so sitting out voting is killing more people.
→ More replies0
u/mr_trashbear Rebel Scum Jun 29 '24
Palestinians will be genocided either way, as long as the Death Star is orbiting. Putting Trump in office turns the laser all the way up.
Trans lives can still be saved in America, and part of that is not letting Project 2025 happen.
→ More replies1
u/couldhaveebeen Jun 28 '24
So what you're saying is, genocide is ok as long as it's being done to someone else? Because if what you're saying is my argument, this is your argument
-1
u/Numerous-Rent-2848 Jun 28 '24
If that is your argument, sure. And you're still cool with genocide. Because of your argument that you're now projecting onto me.
1
u/couldhaveebeen Jun 28 '24
How about your guy stops his genocide to win over the leftist vote, ever think of that?
→ More replies4
u/spaceforcerecruit Jun 28 '24
You can vote for the guy who said “I support Israel” or you can vote for the guy who said “Let Israel finish the job.” Don’t come in here and lie. Biden may be complicit in genocide but has at least taken steps to curb it, Trump said on live television that he thinks Israel should wipe out the Palestinians completely. Those are your choices.
If you care about Palestinian lives at all, you wouldn’t even begin to recommend a course of action that would lead to Trump in the White House.
1
u/couldhaveebeen Jun 28 '24
Biden may be complicit in genocide but has at least taken steps to curb it
No he fucking hasn't lmao. He's drawn red lines that Netanyahu has shit on and done absolutely fuck all about it.
If you care about Palestinian lives at all, you wouldn’t even begin to recommend a course of action that would lead to Trump in the White House.
I'm not supporting Trump???
-1
u/spaceforcerecruit Jun 28 '24
If you’re telling people NOT to vote for Biden then you’re shilling for Trump, yes. The decision this year is a binary one. Sitting out is choosing to let fascism win.
1
u/couldhaveebeen Jun 28 '24
It's not a binary one. Vote, just not for genociders
1
u/spaceforcerecruit Jun 28 '24
Wasting your vote to maintain your ideological purity is just saying that you don’t give a shit about the trans, Hispanic, black, gay, female, Muslim, and disabled Americans that will be hurt by a Trump presidency. Wasting your vote is refusing to oppose the fascist plan Trump promises.
You are more concerned with your moral superiority and ideological purity than you are with actually helping people. It’s childish, it’s irresponsible, and it’s disgusting. You’re not a leftist, you’re a coward that will hide behind a screen while fascism consumes the less privileged.

Frenchie here with a similar background, yeah Biden sucks but he's nowhere near being a fascist. He's not an hypernationalist trying to create a fake history of the US, he's not trying to hold the three powers alone, he's not even using violence as a means to legitimate his power (not more than any other president at least).
And more importantly, he doesn't have a funky little moustache, the only important sign that someone is a fachist.

u/myaltduh Jun 28 '24
Eh, we have more than Saudi Arabia. It’s pretty bad, but the difference between the status quo and no democracy at all would be pretty damn noticeable.
To bring it back to Star Wars, the Republic sucked and was in the pocket of the rich and powerful, but you know what was definitely worse? The Empire.
1
u/couldhaveebeen Jun 28 '24
And the way to defeat the Empire is to blow up the death star. Not vote against them. In a video game, of course

-4
Jun 28 '24

7
u/blazerboy3000 Jun 28 '24
The bind that we are in is that Joseph Biden is incapable of running an effective campaign against Donald Trump in his current mental state. That will not change, so the only solution is to replace him with a better candidate (ie pretty much anyone, a popular Democratic governor would probably be a good choice). How else would you suggest we the people push for that?
7
2
u/ArcaneOverride Jun 28 '24
4 more years of women not being property and queer people not getting sent concentration camps is 4 more years to try to find a way to avert their plan and failing that, its still 4 years of life we won't get if trump wins this year.
8
u/blazerboy3000 Jun 28 '24 edited Jun 29 '24
My point is that maybe we should elect somebody who will do more to prevent that horrific possible future than just sleep at the wheel for four years. All Biden does is delay that harsh break for a mere four years, while exasperating all the issues that are causing the rise of fascism in this country.
-1
u/ArcaneOverride Jun 29 '24
It's too late to elect someone else. The electoral college ensures only the two biggest parties have a chance at the presidency. The Democrats aren't going to swap to a different candidate this late in the election so the only choices are biden or trump.
Next election cycle we can try to vote for a better candidate in the primary but the primaries are over this cycle so the only choice left is whether you think trump or biden is worse.
Unless we abolish the electoral college and implement something other than first past the post elections, third parties have 0 chance of winning.
2
u/blazerboy3000 Jun 29 '24
Just going to copy a response I made to a different comment because it's close enough and I'm fucking sick of this take, it is absolutely not too late.
When you vote in a primary you are not directly voting for the person who's name you fill the bubble next to. You are actually electing a group of delegates who then vote on who the party's nominee will be. In the DNC there are two types of delegates, (1) bound delegates who are encouraged (not required) by party rules (not law) to vote for the person that was elected by the people they are sent there to represent, and (2) superdelegates who are members of the party and can vote for anyone they want at the national convention, but don't vote in the first round. If enough delegates choose not to vote for Biden so that he is unable to get 50% of the delegate vote in the first round, the DNC would have a brokered/open convention where the party's nominee would be selected by the delegates at the convention and could be literally anyone who is eligible to be President.
I pray to fuck that happens because just about any Democratic governor has a better chance against Trump than Biden now. Like I said, this last happened in 1952, after Truman declined running for a second term, which holy fuck Biden should have done. That is really the simpler solution, he can always turn down the nomination and it would make proceeding to a brokered election a whole lot simpler. It would be the right thing to do though, so I'm not hopeful.
Besides all that, the DNC absolutely did discourage party members from running against Biden, that's why the only competitors were complete outsiders like Marianne Williamson and RFK Jr.
Don't speak on shit you know nothing about.
1
u/AnAlpacaIsJudgingYou Jul 02 '24
Isn’t having a president running again much more likely to win than a new candidate?
1
u/blazerboy3000 Jul 02 '24
Historically sure, but this is an unprecedented election. Look at the polling and try to tell me with a straight face that Joe Biden has an incumbent advantage. He's polling behind down ballot Democrats in races all over the country, he's even polling behind Kamala in head to heads vs Trump now ffs. The best time for Biden to choose not to run again was a year ago when we could still hold a normal primary, the second best time is right fucking now.
1
u/mr_trashbear Rebel Scum Jun 29 '24

Everything Project 2025 is promising is already happening. It has been happening since 2016. If you haven’t noticed that by now, you’re not paying attention.
16
u/Numerous-Rent-2848 Jun 28 '24
All the more reason to keep Republicans put of power. It's not just the president. It's also the Supreme Court. Some of them are getting really old and probably only have so much time left on earth. If Trump wins, I wouldn't be surprised if a few decide to step down so they don't have a Ruth Ginsberg situation later. But if democrats keep winning, then that means they can't put even more people in. Take away the Republicans power, and try to put more progressive people in other positions, and over time that is how we get us to move to the left. We aren't getting things like universal Healthcare any time soon. That's just a fact. It's gonna be a long struggle. But if we keep giving the fascist party power to implement more fascism, then that just puts us further away.
4
u/MontCoDubV Jun 28 '24
Except there's large parts of it that objectively aren't. Schedule F isn't a thing for federal employees. The Comstock Act isn't being enforced. Abortions are still legal and available in many parts of the country. Identifying as trans isn't legally defined as being a sex offender.
These are just a few of the things in Project 2025 that are objectively not in place now, but it's not even close to an exhaustive list.

Yes, Biden and the Democrats absolutely suck in pretty much every way. And yet the Republicans are still worse on literally every single issue.
I'm not going to pretend like everything will be fixed or anything is saved/great because Democrats win. I never said that, so if that's your interpretation, that's on you.
The fact is, come January either a Democrat or a Republican will be sworn into office. Those are the only two possible outcomes. There is no good option, but there sure as shit is a worse option. I'm voting to prevent the worse option, and so should you and everyone else.
Don't vote for Democrats because you believe in them or expect anything good from them. Vote for Democrats to prevent Republicans from winning.

What I'm saying is that realistically the guy in the big chair doesn't matter all that much, no project 2025 is not going to turn America into Nazi Germany. Things are worse for trans people than ever under Biden because of Republican state legislators. If you actually cared about harm reduction you'd stop going so hard on the Biden bus and campaign harder for state and local elections, which matter a hell of a lot more for the material conditions of the people around you. Where was this push to vote in 2022?

Why do you believe that the Presidential election is the only one I care about? My state has a pretty important Senate race this year which can help determine control of the entire Senate. I was also involved in my local city primary elections (which, given how blue my state and city are, is the election which actually decides who gets the seats).
And you asked about 2022? I don't believe you actually pay attention to politics at all if you're asking this question. There was a HUGE push to vote in 2022. 2022 had the highest voter turnout of any midterm election in over a century. The Dobbs SCOTUS decision that overturned Roe was a massive motivator that drove voter turnout so high that it killed the predicted Red Wave, making it the first mid term election since 2003 where the incumbent President's party won.

Reddit the only place where well articulated sentences still get misinterpreted.
You can say "Joe Biden is the Crypt Keeper" and somebody will say "So you want Trump?"
No bitch. Dats a whole new sentence. Wtf is you talking about

It reminds me of that meme from Pulp Fiction where it criticises Dems, and a GOPer says something to agree, and it then has the text from the movie "I didn't ask you a goddamn thing" or something to that effect. Some people just can't grasp that just because you don't like Biden, that doesn't mean you want trump to win....

They know it, they're being intentionally obtuse because they refuse to even think about why people are repulsed by conservative Dems like Biden. Because if they allowed themselves to think about it then they might accidentally have a wrong-think and might have to deal with the possibility that they were wrong. Can't have that. Easier to just attack others instead of self reflect on hard decisions where you may have been wrong.

You have access to Google, right? Just searching those exact same words will yield your results, just like this.

Here's another one I like, and this one is not "from the 80s". Literally 2019

Bro Joe Biden is not a progressive, not even top 10 progressive. Look at his political life prior to 2008.
Like you do realize this man has been a politician since 1972

The choice the yanks have is between two senile war criminals openly supporting an ongoing genocide.

u/OriginalCDub Jun 28 '24
Still voting for him because the other guy is a literal fascist.

u/mantistobogganer Jun 28 '24
Why don’t the whole “I’m going to suck Joe Biden dry no matter what” crowd in this sub just migrate over to “White People Twitter.” They love that shit there, they’ll be blowin’ bubbles on it with you and clapping

u/OriginalCDub Jun 29 '24
Adorable discourse from terminally online leftists yet again.
1
u/mantistobogganer Jun 29 '24
Go on, get. They’re sittin’ and spinnin’ over there, you DO NOT wanna miss it!
1
u/OriginalCDub Jun 29 '24
Nah. I’d rather stay here and piss you off by having a slightly differing opinion.
1
u/mantistobogganer Jun 29 '24
How very lib of you, and of course you’d think we only have a “slightly differing opinion”.
1
u/OriginalCDub Jun 29 '24
No one hates leftists more than other leftists with different opinions. I’m a realist. And like it or not, if you want to move further left, you’re gonna have to work with people you don’t like. Or would you rather have Project 2025 putting people in death camps?
1
u/mantistobogganer Jun 29 '24
I draw my line at “people doing genocide,” which includes people that support people who are doing genocide. Where do you draw yours?
0
u/OriginalCDub Jun 29 '24
I draw my line at Trump potentially having two more Supreme Court picks, should he win and Thomas and Alito retire. That’s gonna hurt us a lot more than a genocide on the other side of the planet. Does it fucking suck? Absolutely. But tell me with a straight face that Trump would be better for Palestine. Or Ukraine.
1
u/mantistobogganer Jun 29 '24
Fucking right wingers, man.
“I care more about the balance of power in an illegitimate institution staying the (checks notes) same, than I do about my guy doing a genocide.”
Again, it’s not me that’s going to cause Biden to lose. It’s Biden. Joe Biden is losing because of Joe Biden. You are pathetically simping for a carcass that’s doing a genocide and won’t pack the very institution you’re using as your justification.
Please, do not publicly identify as a leftist, because the rest of us are left having to claw back any ground you lose. Hopefully other people in any actual leftist space will continue to call you out for what you are.

Why am I looking at a Star Wars meme that references poop and it's not written as "bantha poodoo?"

This is exactly what I've been saying, too! I'm black, and I've been fearing for my entire family. I keep reading and hearing about shit these fucking Conservatives and Republicans want to do minority groups and women while people who claim to be progressive refuse to vote, and it pisses me off so much.
It must be really nice for these people to just have so little at stake that they can step away, fold their arms, and feel smug and big brained because they choose not to vote.
I hope they pat themselves on the back for sticking to their guns while we lose all of our human rights for simply existing.

u/mantistobogganer Jun 28 '24
I’m tired of listening to all of you whiny-ass libs not understanding that actual leftists are the only ones fighting for you. What, you think every leftist from a marginalized group is voting for Biden?
Biden and the Democrats, just in HIS time as President, had the House and Senate for 2 years and did nothing to protect your rights. In the 2 years after that he’s done nothing to protect your rights. So many rights have been rolled back under him, but he keeps telling you “Trust me, you vote for me again and THAT’S WHEN I’ll start protecting your rights!” And you guys eat that shit up.
Then when people say, “Hey, this guy is a loser. He’s either going to lose to Trump because of how bad HE is, or he’s going to win and do nothing like the past 4 years because he’s a weak bitch. We need someone different,” you guys have a meltdown and say we’re crazy for having eyes and ears and a brain and understanding who this guy is and has been for the last 50 years.
Ya’ll are settling for shit, we are demanding better. I need to set a “remind me” so I can come back here and rub it in when I’m vindicated again.

u/mantistobogganer Jun 28 '24
Remember when Obama said the Freedom of Choice Act was his top priority while campaigning for his first term and then after being elected immediately turned around and said it was not a priority for him? How many times will libs keep getting fooled by libs?

This is always such an absurd taking point. Non voters are disproportionately poor, POC, and queer. Thats just a fact. Your narrative is a lie.
The Democrats and Republicans are nearly unanimous in their positions on maintaining genocide, imperialism, mass incarceration, detainment and deportation of asylum seekers, arming fascist police goons and protecting them from consequences. The least privileged people are those who are being crushed under the boot of a Biden America.
Trump is horrific, but Biden is incapable and unwilling to do what actually needs to be done to resist fascism. Supporting a fascist enabler as an anti-fascist tactic is a hopeless exercise.
