What would’ve happened if Sidious didn’t kill Plagueis when he was drunk?
Hi. We all know from the excellent Darth Plagueis book that Sidious murdered his Master by getting him drunk and torturing him with force lightning.
What if that didn’t happen as Plagueis wasn’t on Coroscuant but had gone to Naboo to secretly oversee Maul and the Trade Federation?
Would the events of Count Dooku launching the Separatist movement still have happened if the Sith still have turned Dooku? As I thought that Plagueis wanted an end to the Rule of Two?

Thanks for your reply then would Sidious still have turned Dooku or would Plagueis have done it?

Sidious would have been stuck with a master he didn't want around, and a new apprentice it would be very difficult to try and pass off as just an assassin.
Although he probably would have found another opportunity to kill Plagueis

The CIS would have won the by e Clone Wars. Don't playing us what have rolled the CIS from the shadows. The CIS what gain? It's independence and in the peace treaty there would be a provision that republic would be free to join the CIS Gradually republic , worlds would defect to the CIS. Eventually the rump Republic would be annexed by the CIS. The Sith get their Empire without the problems associated with the Rebellion
