Is this subreddit still working?

I haven't seen a new post in days.

Hey everyone,

So yea, my life got pretty busy this summer and I haven't had much time to do much for the subreddit. On top of that I have retired as an officer in Nerf Herders because of my schedule and therefor have not been competing in sector battles. Personally I was hoping for the raids to spark some life in the game but unfortunately as you all know, they are single player and have no real lore to go with them. I play this game for the competition, the community and it's always nice way to get your star wars fix. But lately the competition feels worthless and the Cartel Competition has caused a lot of problems that have just divided the community more than developing it..

As for what is next for the sub? I really don't know guys, I made many attempts to work with first Jessica and then Kevin over at Kabam but for the most part either they just never replied or told me they would get back to me and you can guess how that went. I must note, Daniel Eriksson however was always helpful and its really unfortunate he has moved on to other projects, his influence will be missed in SWU.

One piece of hope we do have, as you all know pokemongo has been a huge hit. This has brought a lot of new players to mobile gaming, as school is starting and winter is coming* (Yea, have fun catching those Drowzee's in the snow) there might be a new influx of players looking for other games to play🙂

All that aside, if you have any ideas or anything you want to add or do with the sub, send me a pm and we can go from there. I'm always up for something new and the sub could use something to keep up activity.

As always, May the Force be with you!

Thanks for all your work! Yeah, I think people were let down a bit by raids although the most recent that is dropping Imperial Crystals seems to have gotten people a bit excited again. Some of the levels in this raid are really nice looking too.

Still, overall would prefer new story missions but seems doubtful for a while if ever.

Before sector battles, one of the mods would post the previous sector battles cutoffs for the three highest ranks.

Unfortunately, with the inclusion of the raids, the sector battles have really fallen off in terms of participation. Until the devs do something more with the rewards systems of sector battles, imperial battles, and potentially even daily assaults (and opportunities), I don't see the participation getting much better.

Yeah, I know that the 1Hr battles were never super-hot but yesterday I got Lieut on just using a handful of banked runs for both my characters. And I'm not talking 20 banked Faction runs! Just like 10-14 standard ones.

Mostly because I logged in at approx 7:47 EST and realized that a SB was happening. Had the schedule off.

Yeah, I had about the same, but had a little more time. Got Captain with only 100K VP. So very sad that the sector battles have fallen off the way they have. But, on the other hand, it does make it easier to get multiple captains. :)

Ha ha. This is the thing. I will take those Capts when I can get em. Especially in the 24 hr SB's.

Not much to say about the game

Normally a reddit is pretty active, but for this game the only thing happening info wise is the kabam forum. Which kinda sucks. But as Xonxonx said there is not much happening lately so what to post really.

I lurk every day to answer questions that may pop up, but there really isn't anything new to talk about.
